Duration: 10 weeks, One evening per week 6:30pm to 9:30pm

Word Processing

Duration: 8 weeks, 10am to 3pm
Commencing: Tuesday 17th September 2019 & Friday 20th September

Spreadsheet Methods

Certification: QQI Level 5

COMPUTER LITERACY (Basic Computers) QQI Level 3

Small class size for more personal training, support and encouragement.

Learners will be able to:
• social network, buy on line
• use the internet
• password protection, viruses,
• provision of personal details
• powering up and shutting down equipment appropriately
• create a file, printing the file, and storing the file
• using the keyboard and mouse
The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the
knowledge, skill and competence to describe the role of
computers in everyday life and to operate a personal computer safely in a supervised environment.

Bookshop Open 2019!!!!!!

If your looking to buy second-hand school books for next term or want to sell the school books that you have, then we at Dr. Stevens Resource Centre can help. We take in second-hand school books and sell them on your behalf for a small fee. The books have to be on the new school year’s curriculum and must be in good condition. The books will be sold at half the retail price and this money will be passed on to you in September. Any unsold books will be given back to you.

The Book Shop is open from 24th June @ 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. Monday – Friday

Drop in if you want to buy or sell school books.

Future courses planned include: PowerPoint; Bookkeeping; Internet; Web Authoring; Train the Trainer. The centre also provides a free course called Digital Skills for Citizens which provides a basic introduction to the online world.

Our School Book Shop is now open for business.
